Total Sales: First half 2013 sales were up by 4.72% for the overall MSA. Buyer demand remains strong as 42% of home sales were on the market for less than 30 days.
Inventory: Overall inventory levels increased for the third straight quarter. This is a result of increased willingness to sell as market conditions improve.
Contracts: Written contracts were up in all major market segments. Rising interest rates have generated more urgency—a trend we expect to continue moving forward.
Median Home Prices: Median home prices increased in all major market segments with a 3.42% increase in the overall MSA.
